I will never return - first time in my life writing a review like this. I have been going to the Hamilton upper gage location for quite some time, weekly. Mainly For their whole chickens etc, and supplements. I’ve had several encounters with helpful, kind employees. Yesterday, October 22nd 2025, was unfortunately quite the contrary. I have been a loyal customer but I will never return. I don’t know what this employee saw in me but as I proceeded to walk out just passing the cashier, I was stopped by her and infront of everyone in the front end of the store - cashiers, and other customer - she falsely accused me of stealing a product. Demanded me to open my bag saying she saw me put a product inside. She was certain she saw me put it in my bag. I was absolutely Dumbfounded! I had purchased a whole chicken and carrots at the back end hot table and paid for it there and she asked me to open that bag up. I opened it up and surprise to her there as NO product in there. I felt so deeply shamed and humiliated. I just turned 50 and never had an experience anywhere like this before. I told her she publicly shamed and humiliated me and that I would never be back and that I wanted to speak to the manager and she told me she was the manager. To further go into depth- on my may back from the hot stand I stopped to get one of my regular products but I noticed they didn’t have the size I usually buy, so I asked her if they might have it, she said no they don’t come in that size. I had said they do as I have the bottle at home but I’m running low. I had said it’s ok maybe they discontinued that bottle size. I took out my phone to call “healthy planet” to see if they may have it, as if they didn’t I would just purchase the smaller one that goodness me had. I was on hold for quite some time still standing in the isle. I finally gave up and said to myself I’ll call once I get in the car again. Thats when i proceeded to leave and was stopped and falsely accused in front of everyone. I did nothing, absolutely nothing to give any kind of sign that I may have taken something! She also went on to say “you must have taken it out of the bag then” couldn’t even take accountability that she was in the wrong. Horrible. Do better!
I just needed to run into grab a couple of vegan options for a party. Alexandra walked through the store with me and helped me pick out all the things I needed. I'm so grateful for her! I would have been lost otherwise. 100% recommend!
I finished having lunch at Golden Fish and Chips and I decided to come here to do groceries instead of going out of the way to another supermarket. I absolutely loved it once I entered Goodness Me! Everything is well-organized and there's absolutely everything you need from produce, supplements, skincare products, and more! Highly recommend checking out this natural food market if you've never been here before!

Large natural grocery store. Large supplement aisle. Service is always great. Produce, dairy and meat section, fresh baked goods and flowers. Cleaning aisle options that I can’t find anywhere. Frozen aisle is great too. . Free parking lot.
Goodness Me is my go to place for the best organic fruits and veggies at the best price. They also have amazing options for meat and fish lovers. Always have a positive experience.
