Was excited for my appointment booked 3 weeks in advance, my stylist wasn't available they moved me to 2 other stylist which was fine. Colour stylist suggested highlights and lowlights I agreed, over 3 hours of foils, she bleached my hair not highlights! Then said oh I have to tone it still to cover her mistake! Then "tones" with a very dark brown (which I told at beginning I did not want to go dark) then sends me off to another stylist to do cut. I kept complaining how dark it was, not to mention no highlights! Both stylists kept gaslighting me oh the colour looks nice, it will fade after several washes! They charge me full price (for highlights/lowlights when I have a full colour) and an extra $50 more than agreed at beginning of appointment! Neither stylist addredded my concerns over the 5+ hours I was there! But they sure took my $500 though! Would give zero stars but can't! So upset ? ? would show photos up I hate it so much looks like trash you get from bad Walmart box dye!
I got my hair cut by Vanessa today and she did a fantastic job! I have thick wavy hair and am very nervous about going to new people. She was extremely welcoming and told me about each step she was going to do. My hair turned out amazing! I am extremely pleased with the service I received and I highly recommend booking with her! :)
I’ve been going to Nichole for over 10+ years and she always does an amazing job on my hair. The cuts are always perfect including the colour and I always leave feeling beautiful. Her energy is always amazing and uplifting and I wouldn’t want anyone else touching my hair. My boyfriend also started going to her and he loves his haircut.
If I could give a negative star review I would! I’ve come here before and gotten my hair and my relatives hair done here with rave reviews, this time was the complete opposite. The hairstylist I wanted to go too was not there and I had to settle for someone else - Bianca. This person was lazy and absurdly overpriced. We were charged because of our hair texture which is overtly bias and racist. The hairstylist claimed to do Black hair but didn’t even know where to start and the final product was horrendous. The manager was just as useless and unsympathetic. Another hairstylist had to hop in and save the day with a haircut that even still she didn’t know how to do because of our hair texture. Please hire hairstylists that are well trained and do not scam Black clients. I will never be coming back here and will discontinue recommending this place to others. And no, I do not want to “reach out via the contact us form on your website to talk to you further about my experience” so don’t bother.
I have booked an appointment for hair consultation at 2:30 and I reached 5 minutes early. they asked me to come back in 5 to 10 minutes. I went back there, one lady told me you’re late we asked you to come back in 5 minutes now she is busy in hair colour and she started being rude. And plus she put blame on me that I was early by 5 minutes. She told me you have to wait until she finishes her color. Such a waste of time.
This 5 star rating is for my stylist Michelle Oke. I have been a loyal customer for over two years now after meeting her at the Burlington location. She was professional, welcoming and always made me feel like we had a genuine connection. I have not let anyone else touch my hair since using her services and at highly disappointed to find out she is no longer with this location. I will be following her wherever she ends up, but I must say this is a huge loss for Limeridge.
