Five stars all around. Ruth the receptionist is lovely, remembering my name each time. Staff introduce themselves, coffee and tea are offered. Albert himself is wonderful, treating the staff like family. He gives an excellent cut for my thinning, curly hair. Anna is also another favourite of mine. I'd never go anywhere else. A little more expensive, but I get what I pay for, which is an excellent cut.
Receptionist was absolutely horrible. I called and booked an appointment because I saw there was time on the day I wanted. They asked for me to come in for a consultation yesterday, so I did. When I got there I stood in front of the girl at the front desk for probably a minute before I was even acknowledged. I told her we spoke yesterday and that I had a consultation. She looked at me as if I had 3 eyes and said I wasn't in the schedule but remembers talking to me. She asked if I could wait a bit but I couldn't because I had to be at work in a half hour. I said I had an appointment on Monday and once again it was not in the schedule. She then looked into it in more detail and saw she booked me in for 2 weeks from when I wanted to. At this point I was extremely frustrated because I specifically recall confirming for the 11th. She was very rude and said " no I didn't tell you those dates it's not even available." At this point I cancelled both the consultation and hair appointment. Out of curiosity I went home and looked online and sure enough there is still appointments for a full head of highlights on this upcoming Monday which is what I wanted. Working in customer service and in the beauty industry I know how important first impressions are. This service was so horrible I will never return nor give this place a good word. When I would be spending easily 200 dollars I'm very surprised the customer service is so poor.
Great hair salon. Everyone is friendly, I always feel right at home. I get my hair cut by Anna who gives me great advice and won't let me cut my hair too short (which is important because I look rather childish with short hair)! I also really appreciate their graded pricing system, you can choose how much you want to spend based on the experience of the stylist.
The staff at Albert Snow is amazing, warm and welcoming. Everyone is extremely skilled and can handle my thick and curly hair. I would recommend this salon to anyone and everyone.
You need a new receptionist! Had an appointment today for a consultation. When I arrived I was not even acknowledged by the receptionist. I sat down and figured she would eventuality greet me, she didn't. I finally got up and told her why I was there and got a blank stare in return. The stylist was very nice but after not even being acknowledged by the receptionist I did not make an apointment to return. Being as the receptionist is the first face you see you think they would hire someone pleasant who could atleast greet customers and crack a smile. Shame you are hurting potential clients for the stylist by having such a miserable snot face at the front desk.
