Good place to learn the gymnastics in the Hamilton. The staff are friendly and loveable. They encourage the students to participate in various levels of competitions recognised by the Ontario Gymnastics Authority. But a little pricey when it comes to extra/special classes, Outfits and Competitions expenses.
Good experience for my 3 year old so far. Coach seems very helpful, he hasn't done gymnastics before but feel like it's more advanced so maybe not the best for first timers but they are very helpful.
The new owners this year are fantastic. The kids enjoy the classes a lot. My daughter really enjoyed the tumbling classes this summer. The instructors are skilled, patient with the kids, and take their time to show them the proper way to do things and how they can improve.
We loved our first year with Manjaks and are looking forward to the next! Our daughter started out doing private tumbling lessons with Susan who is fantastic and has helped to improve her tumbling so much! Our son joined the rec boys program shortly after and has really improved his body awareness, strength, flexibility and confidence. Our son had coach Barrett who he looks up to and talks about things he wants to show him when not in class. Thanks Manjaks for a great first year!
Bad experience with my kids. Your main objective is money, unqualified coaches (some of coaches's kids make them coaches without any qualifications), asking for private lessons, I can explain more ............
Bad experience MY NINE (9) YRARS OLD BROKE HER LEG WHEN SHE WAS AT SUMMER CAMP AND NO BODY GIVE ME A CALL TO COME SHE HAVE STAY FOR ONE HOUR ON THE FLOOR I COME TO PICK UP HER ON TIME AND I SURPRISED SHE WAS ON THE FLOOR CAN’T MOVE AND CRYED FROM THE PEN WE END UP IN THE EMERGENCY WITH BROKEN LEG AND CASTE FOR 6 weeks AND NON IN THIS GYM GIVE ME A CALL TO ASK ABOUT HER THEY CALL ONLY TO COLLECT PAYMENT. NOT RECOMMENDED
Update: This used to be a great club. However, since about a year ago, things started to change. Good coaches left, administration became chaotic, staff became rude. After two years of driving all the way from Thornhill, we left and never went back. This is an amazing place. I took my toddler to 5 different gymnastics classes in Richmond Hill, Vaughan, and North York. None were nearly as good as Manjak. We travel one hour each way to and from the club. It is definitely worth it.
