went on Sunday morning to this bakery. It’s unbelievable that at 9 a.m. I asked for bread and they gave me a stale bread. The service is very bad. Rude staff
I've been a few times but today was very disappointing. The lady behind the counter barely speaks. I had an $8 sandwich that was mostly lettuce. The tarts are usually good, but I tried a vanilla.cake today which was very dry on the back and side. I was there later morning but it feels like they were yesterday's product seeing as there were only 3 there. I'd still.go back and try again but today wouldn't have looked great to a first time customer
Relaxing place to have a delicious breakfast. Eggs properly cooked and great thick bacon properly cooked with toast and fries. Service is friendly and you can buy a Portuguese 2 tarts for dessert on the way out. Cost with coffee $23.
Pastries were decent as someone who is from Portugal the only thing half way decent are their natas. The owner might seem like a nice old lady but god is she such a rude boss to her employees. I would come here every other month or so and its always new empoyees. Seems like they cant keep staff i wonder why.... Employees always running around while shes sat down talking to her friends like what kind of boss does that especially during a rush. Definitely not fit to be a boss.
I know the food it's really good the pastries and everything the only problem is they take only cash which the girl said the machine is down just for today and that's a lie they've been taking cash for quite a while they shouldn't be taking only cash they should take debit card or any any kind of card bless the girl it's so unfriendly oh my goodness she should stay home this happened on Tuesday March the 18th at 1:45 very disappointed and they should do something about it for all the stores they take cash only
Had a lovely cappuccino and Portugese tart with my friend. Lovely little cafe and staff were friendly. Thought it was odd they only took cash, on my previous trip here they had credit and debit. Dropped by last week and they are closed till Aug 31st. No reason for closure. Hope it's just a vacation break as will be visiting again
I visited for the first time today, and all I can say is it definitely won't be my last! I would like to compliment the young man working at the counter, he was so welcoming, knowledgable and polite! I hope that the Owner is reading this because I truly appreciated this person! Now the delicious Portuguese Goodies! I ordered Portuguese Tarts, Eclairs, Savoury Crossaints, (Chorizo as well as Ham and Cheese), a plain crossaint, and an Americano. Everything was extremely tasty, fresh and authentically porteguese. Do yourself a favour and drop by this lovely small business! Thanks so much for your service and treats today
