I wanted to place a large order (family function for a Christmas party) with KFC and was met with total disappointment. I won’t even itemize the numerous issues. I only tried to order from KFC because that’s what I was use to over the years. Kinda my go to, bring a “bucket of chicken” thing. Terrible business now. Sad. I remember going to Kentucky Fried Chicken in the 1970’s in Kentucky for God’s sake the original store. The chicken was deadly. Now,,,not Decided to try Mary Brown’s Chicken. I called and spoke with a human who took my order and had it perfectly ready the next morning for pick up when promised. I was so taken aback by the efficiency and service with this place. The chicken was perfectly cooked, super juicy, everyone at the party was impressed. And they’re Canadian yes? ?
I just wanted to genuinely from the bottom of my heart thank this company for hiring an amazing team of staff members at the lime ridge mall. From the amazing, friendly and hardworking cooks to the kind, hustling and knowledgeable front of staff. There was one girl that truly stood out for me however and that was the gorgeous Alysia. I’ve never had such a pleasant first experience or just over all experience at a fast food restaurant especially in such a high volume mall. Alysia greeted me with a smile the very first time I went to Mary browns and it made me less nervous to try. She took her time seeing me curious and unsure of what to try. After eating her recommendations and learning of my mall employee discount, I had to return. But it wasn’t just her knowledge it was the quality of the food and her genuinely customer service that made me a loyal customer and to swear off McDonald’s and any other fast food as much as I could. Everytime I see her, she is working so so hard with a smile on her face and a pep in her step. She takes her time to show up and be kind each and every day and I truly truly think that should be rewarded. In this day and age kindness is becoming less of a commodity and yet Alysia chooses kindness. Please someone at management or the corporate Gods bless this woman, she deserves it! I will do my own thing for her when I can but in the meantime please take this review as my true testimony! Thank you Mary Browns for making such quality chicken and taters, whenever I’m on the way to the bus I always get tempted to buy more even when I’m penny pinching and because of that quality and Alysia’s customer service I’m a loyal customer for life! I’ve told everyone I know and meet about the amazing service from the entire lime ridge team and I hope this company stays forever. Also there’s a great points system where I’ve been racking up the points in the app. Sorry if this a dissertation atp but I genuinely appreciated and appreciate my experiences here and thank you for reading! Unimpressed by the service at this location, staff was very rude. I dont understand how you sell out of chicken when you guys are a chicken based restaurant. I went yesterday for the Big Mary deal $1.93 and they were sold out. Went to the upper james location and same thing. You guys should've accommodated knowing its that cheap and being so busy. Very disappointed.
Vaurnet was incredibly helpful. I follow a strict halal diet and only eat hand-slaughtered meat. When I asked if they served that, he didn’t just give a vague answer—he showed me actual proof. Most people get awkward or dismissive about these kinds of questions, but he was kind, respectful, and patient with every concern I had. Hands down, the best customer service experience I’ve ever had.
