This is the 2nd 1 star review I have given this store as it is the 2nd straight time I have had a major issue with my order, so fool me twice shame on me I guess. This time, most of my order was missing, they said they would refund my order but I have seen nothing about a refund yet. The food I did get was bad, in a 2 piece meal I got the 2 smallest pieces of chicken possible. The 1st 1 star review I gave they responded asking me to email them so they could fix the situation. I did email them and I never heard back. I would stay away from this location. They are awful.
We had Mary Browns last night for dinner and it was awesome. The service was great the man serving us run through the menu to get us a cheaper price. The food was great when we got it home and still hot. we really like the chicken way better then KFC.
UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT! So, I decided to reach out to the shop to cater our holiday lunch...and I was overwhelmed by the courtesy, the generosity and the delicious. I ordered for 45 people... and it arrived steaming hot, right ON time. The crowd smelled the aroma and lined up... chicken! coleslaw! wedges! gravy! mac&cheese! DEVOURED!!! The comments back to me have made the need to review necessary because I got thanked so much --and all I did was order! Plates and cutlery and condiments and a ready smile from the new owner made the event so easy for me. I confided that I had been hesitant, having been burned by catering elsewhere in the past, and was met with a very honest, and revealing, response. "I'm focussing on the food... it's got to be absolutely amazing; what would be the point otherwise?" So how was the chicken? Crispy. Fresh. Abundant. Mouthwatering. I tried to eat it slowly, to savour each bite. In fact, I ate it so quickly because I wanted more. Anyway, I think the new management is onto something... QUALITY. SERVICE. SMILE.
A greasy combo, I ordered the two pieces with wedges coleslaw and a pop. I ordered a 5 piece chicken strips for my husband and my daughter only wanted a drink. After that she ordered an extra coleslaw to the order which was not added and no charge for it. I do not recommend this chicken ? as after the receipt cost for all this was almost 31 dollars. Worse than kfc and church's chicken a flavorless greasy chicken.
Tried Mary Brown's Chicken the other day for the first time! Their chicken was awesome, nice and tender, good size pieces, and their batter was nice and light and crispy with a great taste!! Grabbed a few 3 piece meals to go for the family at a reasonable price. They came with 3 small salads which where tasty. The potato wedges tasted great and the gravy went good with them! I'm definitely switching from KFC to Mary Brown's Chicken now! I'm looking forward to trying out their chicken sandwiches on my next visit! I'd definitely recommend thus establishment!
Overly greasy and just not that great, so I have no idea why I keep trying. The photos of the fries are below but the whole experience was so awful, I didn't finish my meal and I'm still nauseas an hour later. The fries bag was so greasy, my fries stuck to the inside of the bag (evidence photo attached). The chicken, again was overly greasy and salty and I don't know why the Macaroni Salad is called Mac and Cheese... It's literally just prepackaged mac salad. But that isn't towards this particular store - that's just the brand. I tried this location after having a horrible experience at the other one... While not worse, its just evident that this chain is not a good place to get fried chicken.
First day open, Absolutely Amazing customer service, very friendly and made sure that everything was correct before handing us our food. food is hot and delicious! 10/10 will return again
