We popped in here while we were in the area and had a great experience! The man working there, which I'm assuming is the owner, was incredibly friendly and we had a great conversation about our dogs. He offered us different cheese samples and we took home four different varieties of cheese. Highly recommended this shop for all your fancy cheese needs! There's also an adorable shop dog named Momo who is very chill and friendly.
I ordered the Cheese of the Month Club as a gift for a friend, and the whole experience was fantastic! Milap was super friendly and made the process so easy. What made it extra special is that he knew my friend through the community (of course when you’re this nice you know everyone!) and promised to tailor the box with cheeses he knew my friend had not tried. Such a thoughtful and personal touch. A wonderful local shop with heart and flavour!
Stopped in here a few months ago, so generous with samples and the best cave cheese i’ve ever tried! I had to stop letting them give me samples because i was going to buy the whole stores inventory at that rate LOL!! Lovely couple, will be back!
I ordered a last minute charcuterie board to congratulate new parents on their bundle of joy. Ancaster cheese gave me such a pleasant experience , they responded promptly on instagram and were able to fulfill my order in a few hours and were so awesome to even deliver it after hours! They went above and beyond and the couple loved the charcuterie board very much! Thank you sooo much for such amazing service !!!
Fantastic customer service. I know absolutely nothing about cheese and went into the shop looking to put together a small cheese board for my wife on Valentine's Day. I asked for 5-6 different cheeses that they'd recommend and wanted to spend about $30. They picked out 5 cheeses, cut to size, and took their time to explain the names and flavours of each. My wife absolutely loved their choices, and we had a TON leftover. So glad I went here instead of blindly picking out grocery store cheeses. We'll be back!
Ancaster Cheese is such an inviting little shop with great products! For my wedding anniversary, I ordered a charcuterie box to take on the road and my wife absolutely loved it. Highly recommend these!!
Very nice owners and amazing selection/quality of cheeses. Also a few other delicious items from local vendors scattered around. Definitely a nice surprise to a quaint downtown.
