I grabbed a coffee here for the first time today, it is such a cute spot and the coffee was delicious, but I was a bit taken aback by the price — I guess $6-7 is becoming the norm for lattes but $8 hurt a bit
Wonderful, inviting cafe with killer pastries and coffee. Try the PB cookies if you're a PB person - you will not be disappointed. The service is friendly and conversational and very genuine, which is refreshing. The perfect place to bring a book and snack and sip and read the day away.
Love this place. Love supporting local business. But very unhappy today with my coffee order. Ordered a small coffee at 3 dollars, but only received a 3/4 cup of coffee. 3/4 after I add cream. Very disappointed
Really nice little shop! My local coffee shop was closed and I heard good things so I decided to try this place out. My latte was really good which came as no surprise since they're pretty highly rated but I also got a rice Krispy square with ruffles chips in it and it was incredible. I still think about it sometimes... the barista was really nice and overall vibe was very chill. Only downside was not alot of parking available because it's right on king st.
The service was incredibly slow, like the workers were taking naps between steps. I asked for a glass of water and it took 5min to get it. The place was pretty full and noise. The selection of pastry items was very limited
Cute, cozy coffee shop with delicious coffee and baked goods. London fog and chocolate chip cookie are by far my fave! Staff is always friendly and helpful with questions about drinks, pastries, etc.
Friendly wondrousness: a coffee shop where the staff brings your coffee to your table. ❤️ Their coffee is delicious and well-priced, WiFi is strong and perfect for long work sessions, the music they play is wonderful, and they have very tasty vegan date squares! I do wish they had more vegan desserts on hand but I can't complain: it's the coffee I go for! Thank you, VCR, for rocking our neighbourhood.
