The MTG nights sold me on the game, I had no idea what I was doing and I still hesitate but the community and the staff were nothing but nice and I enjoyed the system they used for winning boosters, shoutout to Steven and Greg for helping me edit my precon. i also really appreciate the D&D one shot nights, it’s a nice why of meeting others and trying out a different character, Micheal runs a fun table, as well Jacob and Maggie have helped me choose plenty of dice, overall great shop for hobby collection and events.

Solid selection of boardgames and my favorite place to play weekly MTG Commander in the city! Everyone on the team is fantastic and the service is unbeatable! Great food and drink options as well. Definitely recommend!!

Edit: rather go to Waypoint Games, Mancala Monk or Never Board Games better food and better attitude. Even some shisha places nearby have nice games and environment free tables. I hope with this attitude this place goes out of customers soon. Overpriced coffee, decent taste, bad attitude and $9 for an hour to sit on a table. Not worth it.

I was really impressed with how many games they had and also service was excellent. They gave clear instructions and were very friendly, I wish I remembered their names to mention here. My apple cider was delicious as well.

The place in itself is not bad, but the rate isn't cheap if you plan to renting the space for a private event. It would be nice if the place expanded to accommodate more people particularly on weekends when kids have no school.

Probably the best board game cafe in Hamilton. The prices are good, and the drinks are nice. I really enjoyed how the games are laid out, made it easy to find something to play.

Such a cute little cafe with so many boardgames and delicious food to choose from. Pro tips: go with your board game expert friends who can explain the rules to you because learning a new game off the rule books will only make you want to rip your hair out and go home.

We’re sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy your visit. The $9 game cover provides 3 hours of unlimited access to our games library. There are many wonderful coffee shops in our neighbourhood if you’d prefer a more traditional spot to sip and have a drink without the fee for the games next time you’re in the area — we’d recommend Mulberry, Relay, Synonym, Ola, there’s so many!

Thank you! We’re also always happy to help you skip the rulebook, if you want to try something that’s new to everyone. (It’s the best part of what we do!)
