Joanne, that works! There is awesome. Their food is by far AAA meat. There's sausages are awesome. The Walnut and blue cheese sausage is the best or one of the best. Anyways, highly recommend this place for all your meat needs. As matter of fact, I think I might go there today
Such a delicious selection of incredible meats, sauces, spices, they have it all! Every time I’m in Murray’s I’m greeted with the friendliest of welcomes from my girl Jo! If you don’t have a butcher shop yet this is the place to go, on Ottawa Street in Hamilton! Love it!!
We have a restaurant in town & needed sausage because our local butcher was closed. Murray’s helped us out big time, short notice with incredible product. The manager I spoke to was super friendly & followed up exactly when she said she would. We really appreciated it.
just bought a roast here today and the gentleman who helped me was incredibly knowledgable. he took me through each step of my plans for cooking it to help me pick the best cut for my needs. i also overheard that all the meat either comes from nearby farms or even the owner's own farm. love to know that i'm buying local. meat is high quality as well as the other items available at the shop. will be coming back soon :)
A wonderful place- reminiscent of Barton and Lotridge in the 60’s and 70’s where the owner was never far from the shoppe. Lovely, knowledgeable staff and the fresh meat is off the charts!!! From the heritage pork ( a specialty) to the beef, eggs and produce in season. Delicious. The curated spices and other additions make cooking an adventure. My favourite people behind the counter and butcher shoppe. Period. Go there and tell the Joe sent you. .
No consistency with employee knowledge or price. Make promises for price and meat availability that they dont keep. If there was less than a 1 star for my experience with murrays i would put a negative.
This is the best place in the city to get high quality chicken, beef and pork! Their triple mix ground pork, beef and bacon is the best thing to make burgers out of and their ground up sausage meat makes great breakfast sausage patties.
