Received a gift certificate and visited to purchase a few ribeye steaks. Everyone we had for dinner was impressed with them. I wish they were closer but will definitely be back for any steaks needed in the future.

There’s something very comforting about walking into the shop and being greeted by my name. Jamie and his crew are knowledgeable and pleasant, but the real reason I go, is the outstanding quality of products. I only wish I were able to make it to the shop more often- incredible sausages, ground beef and steaks! Bone marrow burger patties! Beautiful pork chops. Do yourself a favour and get some house made chicken liver mousse, and spread it on a crusty baguette. Your life will never be the same.
We have been using Jamie and his business J Waldron Butchers since the beginning of the pandemic. We haven't looked back! Quality meat and amazing customer service. We are so grateful to have a shopping experience that is local, ethical and safe. We appreciate how hard Jamie and now also Candace work to bring us quality products. I started buying different meats (pork, lamb, beef, chicken) from Jamie last year when he first launched the meat share program. The shares were great, not only because of the more sustainable concept where little or nothing goes to waste, but also due to the high quality of the cuts selected. Since the store opened in Barton I have been going there to get a few picks rather than a whole share. Both Candice and Jamie are amazing, I show up and I ask what I want, even a vague idea, and they go out of their way to give me that or something similar. Everything is portioned and packaged to what I need. And the flavour of everything I get is just unreal. I am really glad that I can go and see them regularly now.
