This is the best bookstore in Hamilton. The selection (newer, older, classics, fiction and nonfiction) is exceptional. In addition to the great book selection: the vibes, music, conversation and customer service is all top notch. It is a joy to spend time here.
Excellent selection of used books, lots of nice condition sci fi, fantasy, and classics. I was able to trade in some books for a deal, great bookstore!
This relatively new establishment on James St N feels like something from the height of this art district -- a place motivated to deliver foremost on enriching people's lives. I see that in their thoughtful curation, interesting programming, generosity with lending their space, and the warmth of their staff. Whatever is their secret sauce for making this bookstore such a sanctuary for my mind and soul, I hope they keep it up.
My new favourite book store in Hamilton! They have created such a welcoming atmosphere for us book-lovers, and stock a well-curated collection of both used and new books. I ended up finding a vintage sci-fi paperback (Enders Game) that I have been hunting for years! Also can we talk about that sign outside? IT'S STUNNING! You can buy prints of the sign inside the shop too!
The owner is lovely, the shop dog is lovely, the books are needed. Books for the end of the world? Yes please! Desperately needed in times such as these. This isn’t just a book store - it’s a community hub for hopeful and gracious people to truly see and truly meet one another. Long live Last Supper Books!
