Great vibes and amazing staff. They have a really great selection of books and art supplies, and are always friendly. I order my books through them, and they're ready in no time at all! I also enjoy the Hamilton posters and swag they have for sale, it makes great gifts!
Wonderful local bookstore with very helpful owner(s) and staff! Received quality chit-chat and advice on some titles we were browsing as well as picked up an indigenous book from their extensive collection. We'll be returning whenever we visit the Westdale area. Thanks again!
Great little books store, the class of Westdale! I've been shopping here since the Bryan Prince days. Now able to visit with the kids to pick out their favourites. Friendly staff and great atmosphere.
Fun, cozy little bookshop. Could spend hours in here owner is really friendly and great to chat with. Love the diversity in book selections and how inclusivity and inclusion are reflected in them! I also love how they highlight local authors and artists
great book store and art supplies. I wandered in on doors open weekend and was pleasantly surprised. If they do not have what you are looking for, no problem they will order it. I love supporting local and the people are so much friendlier and helpful then the giant bookstores. Im just disapointed i did not wander in sooner!
The bookstore and mixed media store is carefully curated and has unique and local stuff! Both owners are so friendly and knowledgeable. Both stores are super organized and it’s pretty inside. One of the best independent book shops I’ve ever been to.
I went for the first time to the store, I thought the store was fantastic, has many things to look at. But here is the thing, something happened there that I didn’t enjoy at all. I was outside I have my very small dog, when I enter first thing I ask to the “owner” was, can I come in with my dog?, he smile at me and he said “of course!” Then as soon as I go to the other side of the store, another man, I think a worker, stop to pay attention to the customer he was talking to and look at me and kinda scream from the other side of the store, “hey you, you should ask first before coming with your dog in, we usually don't let anyone to come with their dog to the store especially if the store has lots of customers” which I replay, “I already ask, and the other guy said that was fine” which he seems to didn't hear, because he still talking about that. He made me so uncomfortable that I was ready to leave, but I just move to the front of the store, the nice guy approached me and asked me if he can help me with something, at the end because of the nice guy I finish buying $75 in products, I can't believe that such a nice place with a nice owner has such an assho!@ as a worker. The store is amazing just change your workers because that could be a reason that you aren't selling or don't get good relationships with your clients, I am not sure if I would go back there if the guy who was rude to me and the other customer he was checking still working there.
