Dave is a freaking GEM!!! Walked in with my partner for a late night sip and he was so incredibly warm. Also made us two of the best negronis we’ve ever had. He made us feel like instant friends. Lovely spot!
Relaxed fun neighborhood bar that fun to go to place. Friendly staff. They have live music some nights. Karaoke on some nights. You can watch sports there. It's great.!
Saturday night was my first visit to HD and I have to say I was impressed. As a person who has known Dave for many years he has hit a home run here. The clientele, vibe and the service were exceptional. I don't drink anymore and the staff quickly pivoted to non alcohol options and even had booze-less Tequila. Will be back very soon
The company I work for, Master Mechanic had our staff party there last night. Dave prepared a special menu for our group and it was amazing. The apps were all amazing, you have to try the frog legs, (never thought I would, but glad I did). The charcuterie board was perfect. The main course which was prime rib was done to perfection along with all the mashed potatoes, roasted Brussel sprouts and mushrooms. The desert was an added bonus. The atmosphere is great and so is the staff could not have done any better, everything was perfect. We will be returning for sure.
Had an event for about 30 people at this inviting & homey neighbourhood bar and it was great. Dave was very accommodating & welcoming for our Friends & Family, coordinating to make sure our selected food options were always available and at the same made sure everyone had a beverage in their hand. All of our guests were very impressed!!! As always
Bon Temps (in my opinion) is an average restaurant which presents itself as a fine dining establishment. My below average rating reflects the lack of value for the price. The steak I ordered was very small (4 oz perhaps?) and certainly did not warrant the $42 price tag. Small portions at high prices may be acceptable at restaurants featuring outstanding and/or unique fare; but its hard to justify with what I felt were average dishes. Very pleasant atmosphere; service was prompt and personable. But these positives weren't enough to offset the lack of value.
