Low key drinking spot. Mainly regulars but the staff are attentive even if you're not. Early close time, 10pm. Lots of guest hanging out since they got off work; high vis still on, you get the deal. It gets busy on Wednesday, for wing day, so come early for a table. I walked out last time I saw there was no tables left. Lol
Wow..... couldn't even help an old man obviously confused and in need of help !! An old man, around 75-80, 6 feet tall and thin as a whip was sitting on the pub bench. The staff asked him to leave for hours but he was still there, waiting for his ride. He thinks the bar is the name it was 20 years ago but he’s very cognizant and aware of where he is." They couldn't even help somone who was possibly Alzheimer's or Dementia or needed some help, just tell him to leave.
I have only ever been here for lunch and the lunches have always been great. Not an extensive menu, but more than enough options. Portions are in line with my appetite, not too much or too little. Just right. No trying to reinvent the wheel, just done the way you want. Fries are fresh cut. I've enjoyed a burger, a western, and a BLT; all have been really good. Service is efficient and friendly. It's not the Ritz, but it is a decent place for lunch if you are ever in the neighborhood. Easy on the wallet too!
The steak on a bun, burgers, poutine, and garlic bread were yummy! Staff are very friendly and the food arrived soon after we placed our order. Cozy local neighbourhood pub :) Music was good too but a little quiet ??
Been to this hidden gem a few times. Very laid back, friendly environment with fantastic food. I dare another pub to match their wings as I'm yet to find any as good or with as many options in Hamilton. Staff are very personable and attentive..reminds me almost of a "Cheers" environment if any other old folks remember the show lol. Definitely stop in you won't regret it.
Went there to meet up with some old friends and found this little bar to be a hidden jem. Great people that work there and the owner is nice also. The secret to this place is their chicken wing...bloody delicious. If you are near by ,,stop and grab some wings,,it's worth it. And have a drink while you wait,,the people there are really nice.
My Wife and I stopped in today for dinner as we’ve been trying to check out more local restaurants. The service was excellent and food was incredible. Best chilli that I’ve had in Hamilton
