Ok let's do this! Story time! I will start this with .. I know that policies exist, I get that! This isn't about that, it's about the fact the you could but so ignorantly expressed why you choose not to! I wasn't looking for a refund, a simple exchange ( i just purchased the incorrectly labeled costume not even 10 minutes before this situation) It was a females costume ( based on the number) not a big deal i'd figure ( who knows without research) literally a simple fix. ("That's not a reason for me to give you a refund") which no one asked for! The clothing is incorrectly labeled as men's clothing so I grabbed it while grabbing other shirts for a photoshoot! I asked her for her name and she rudely stormed away from me even after I introduced myself! I wouldnt have made a public review had she not acted so disgusting! The lady who is dealt with at the cash is a true angel! I appreciate her even attempting to correct a simple situation for a customer! The lady with the black hair ( manager im taking it) horrible attitude issue, even if you didn't want to do the exchange, your disrespectful energy was entirely unwarranted! Over a simple exchange from a purchase that was made 10 minutes prior! Horrible behavior, wouldn't disclose her name and stormed off instead handling the customer issue! Thats how the salvation chooses to be represented?
Usually good for books. Steer clear of this place within 30 minutes of closing. The two middle-aged women will start shouting the time in your face. It was almost comical to watch. Most of the shoppers started joking with comments like.. how long? Is it 15 minutes? Seriously, the whole store is maybe 1000 sq ft. It won't take me 20 minutes to walk fifty steps. Lighten up.
Had a very disappointing experience on monday evening(9th June) The older white lady was extremely rude and unprofessional. She even said, “Do you understand English?”—a comment that felt racist and targeted. Me and my sister shop here often but have never been treated like this before. If staff can’t treat customers with basic respect, they shouldn’t be on the floor.
Been there this evening the old white lady there was very rude we go there to shop frequently but never came across someone as her she was mean and rude , if your age isn’t permitting you to be nice to anyone just stay at home is all I will say! We were sorting out stuff since it was closing time and they don’t refund money until this kind of experience you don’t aim for when you step in to get cloths which actually bring you happiness. She said “ you don’t understand English? “ which was very RACIST approach towards us because there were other people who were also trying stuff along with us and she didn’t went out and called out them. All the places advertise they don’t tolerate harassment or hatred towards the staff what about STAFF DOING THAT TO A CUSTOMER!!!!!!!!!!
This is the second time the cashier tried to ripe me off by short changing me, The first time I will call it a mistake. The second time she rang it in as a fifty ,when I gave her a twenty and tried to ripe me off for ten dollars the first time it was five dollars I see a trend happening, she's a theft and if she stealing from customers she's also stealing from the store by punching in the wrong amount and pocketing my change and no doubt store money to, watch your change closely .I will never shop there again it's happen one then once. .
I visited on Aug 2nd. The pricing on the womens clothes and other items was ridiculous. $9.99 for a long sleeve tshit. It used to be great reasonable pricing. Yikes. Must be new pricer is in this location. From reading other comments im not alone noticeing this. I'll stick to Marketplace, way cheaper and better deals. I will still donate to Salvation though.
Good little thrift store...I like that the proceeds go to the Salvation Army. Limited selection on some items but you can find some treasures. Good luck on the hunt!!
