Stopped in to have lunch with friends. Didn't think much about our restaurant pick except to find an easy way to meet up at a convenient location. The food was so good. The ginger tea really nice. And, when the restataunt ran out of diet coke we saw our waiter go get more. Sir. You are a delight. We could have just had water. Will definitely come back and we loved it!!!
It was a rather disappointing meal. The spicy stir fry in coconut milk, as far as we can taste or see had no coconut milk. The ginger shrimp barely had any ginger flavour. Generally not much flavour at all. I am allergic to bell peppers, so asked that they leave out the bell peppers, but the dish arrived with bell peppers. Neither dish had mushrooms as indicated. The broccoli and cauliflower were barely cooked.
Stopped to get some gas and noticed Thai Tamarind right beside the station and figured I’d give it a shot, and wow am I glad I did. The food was absolutely delicious. I got the Pad Thai with shrimp, and it was some of the best I’ve ever had. The portions were generous, and the service was super friendly. You can tell this is a family run place with real care put into the food. Definitely making this a regular stop whenever I’m in the area.
Went to try their lunch specials with a group of friends and we were all surprised with how tasty everything was. Our orders came with a free spring roll and tom yum soup to start which was yummy, and the sweet and sour chicken was superb.
Dined in here with my father, we were looking for a quick stop and boy are we glad we came across this gem!! Food was excellent and we cant wait to come back to try out more items.
Brought a big group of coworkers here. Good dining experience. Service was quick and it was a great environment. Food was not entirely authentic though I only tried the green curry chicken.
Worst Thai restaurant I have ever been in. Used to live in the Richmond Hill area where Thai food was authentic and delicious. The beef in the 'beef and broccoli' is either precooked or cooked at such a low temperature that it is like shoe leather. The only saving grace is the hot and sour soup. Are there any good, authentic Chinese or Thai restaurants in Ancaster? What a culinary wasteland! Sept. 17 2024.. Jusy went back today to try the Pad Thai that got good ratings. I’m trying to find something comparable to Bamboo at Queen Street West in Toronto in the 80s and 90s. That Pad Thai was amazing. Chicken wasn’t precooked like at Tamarind. Bangkok Spoon is okay…but where do I get good Pad Thai?
