Needed top of shoe glued to the sole. Asked for payment up front. These are well made Blundstones. First time I wore them after the repair they came apart. Jackson Square a horrible location as well. Expensive parking. Huge mall.
I’m amazed. They took a 20 year old pair of my motorcycle boots with over 200,000 kms of rain, dirt, and ice on them and made them look almost new again. Service was fast and pricing was fair. Use these guys - you won’t be disappointed.
A bit of an issue to find parking as it is located at Jackson Square but all in all I have a positive experience at this cobbler I went in showed the shoe and 30 minutes and $22 later I had repaired shoes and a smile.
Went in to see about changing zippers on my husbands boots. I think they may have seen the brand and thought rich quoted 158 to change the zippers nope over priced. Extremely rude from the get go and way over priced. My husbands boots are currently at another shop getting the zippers changed for 56 dollars. I will never go back to Unique Shoe Repair for anything.
Don t go there..... He asks for money upfront .....he ruined my boots....it looked worse after he worked on them.... totally scratched.....seams ...not sewed straight ....not even sewn....using cheap glue that comes apart in no time . Don t waste your time or money......go to the other guy by Nations . He s a shoe repair man
If there was an option to give them less than 1 star, with no doubt I would do that. Regardless of their poor service and high price their rudeness is beyond imagination. I brought my boots for zipper replacement and from the first day, it didn't look like they even changed it. When I complained, their response was *WE DON'T KNOW HOW YOU USED IT* and *HOW IT GOT BROKEN* ! My only words to you if you want to take your shoes for repair there is DON'T make my mistake. My reason for outsourcing a shoe repair was to ask a professional who knows about their job! I was wrong because in Unique Shoe Repair you will give them money for doing absolutely nothing and letting them be as rude as possible, which no one deserves.
They did a great job repairing a pair of shoes that I had torn when I tripped over a large spike sticking out of a concrete block, all too common in Hamilton. I thought for sure the shoes would be a write-off but they were able to make a complete repair and they also attached new heels that I had asked for. Price was reasonable and I had the shoes back in about 10 days.
