I tried the spicy ramen and karaage here, and both were absolutely delicious and tasted very authentic. The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced. I was also impressed by how clean the place is — the staff regularly cleans the chairs and tables immediately after someone finishes dining. Overall, it’s a great experience, and I would highly recommend this place to everyone who enjoys good, authentic food in a clean and well-maintained environment.
Incredible Ramen spot. Absolutely delicious, created with care and love, great service and atmosphere. Couldn't say enough great things about this place.
Farm to Bowl restaurant. This restaurant is a small cozy place, with friendly service. The food was excellent, super fresh and tasty. The broth of the ramen was creamy and flavourful, and the noodles & chicken cooked perfectly. My friend also ordered Donburi-curry chicken katsu, chicken was tender and the curry with the rice was yummy. I love ramen and this I have to say is a hidden gem. The only thing I wished they had was takoyaki, other than that, this place I would definitely recommend. This place also has vegan and vegetarian options. I can't wait to come back and try other things on the menu.
For the price... $25 for this tiny bowl... I was extremely disappointed. Not only was it not spicy at all... The quality of the ingredients was pretty terrible. The noodles were alright though. ?
Where do I even begin with this review… Lets start with the appetizers. The Kaarage was decent, minus the splurge of Kewpie mayo on the plate. The only other decent item here was the water they served. The Gyoza lacked filling, it had no flavour, and the sauce that accompanied this appetizer didn’t help at all. The Edamame was terrible, it seemed as if they took Costco frozen packs of edamame, warmed them up and served them without any salt. Now onto the ramen…this was easily the worst bowl of ramen I have ever had. The broth had no depth and there was an odd taste to it that I couldn’t quite describe. The chicken was bland and when I took my first bite of it… ice cold. Whoever gave this place a Readers Choice award needs to have their taste buds checked. Please go to Sansotei in Toronto and seriously see if your ramen can even compare to this place. Hamilton has continuously proven that its ramen scene is subpar compared to Mississauga and Toronto. Such a disappointing experience since this place had good reviews.
The best ramen I've had. The broth is rich and deep with flavours, noodles have great chew, ingredients are fresh. The service is very fast, everyone is very nice, and the inside is nicely decorated. Everything is reasonably priced, on par with any other ramen restaurant. Can't think of anything negative to say.
I've almost always orded the karaagedon (huge favorite!) but this time I tried the katsu curry! It had such a lovely depth of flavour. ❤️ (We also of course ordered some karaage on the side. ?) Consider giving all of their donburi a try!!
