A wonderful independent grocer in Barton Village. Terrific selection for a relatively small store. The produce prices are fair and comparable to the big corporate chains.
Clean, well stocked and always fresh. Nice variety. Micro greens are cheaper than many places and of better quality. Friendly staff. So happy to be able to support local instead of another chain. You won’t regret checking them out.

Its been a year since my last review as someone who lives 2 minutes away: still selling old and wilted produce including 3$ herbs. Seems to rely heavily on the shelf stable products and most fresh food has been pushed to the back of the store where the temp is warm including the refrigeration units. Operating hours are inconvenient for most working people during the week so product won't move quickly. If you honestly think the produce is good here, you might as well shop at Big Bee.
Finally, fresh local produce less than a block away. No need to plan a day trip just to get some high quality and organic veggies for tonight's dinner. They carry a decent and ever expanding selection of products from local growers. My only complaint is that by the time the weekend comes by some items are a bit tired and tattered. That being said, they are starting from scratch, purchasing state of the art refrigeration systems is probably a huge investment and the only way they will make it is with our support. I see the store and selection growing week by week and have no doubt that with enough loyal customers they will shine in every way.
I'm so glad this place exists. Local access to fresh vegetables and other perishables saves me a trip to the big box grocery. I can stock up on non-perishables once a month and get the rest here, within walking distance of my home!
