My interactions with the egregious HPS as an innocent victim and abuse survivor should serve as a vital cautionary warning to all; especially to other law-abiding women residing within Hamilton-Wentworth. The level of deep-seeded corruption, rampant misogyny, increasing anti-white racism, along with a consistent blame the victim mentality (plus erroneously yet vehemently accusing the victim of being a 'mentally ill EDP' in the absence of ANY empirical evidence) routinely exhibited by this so-called police 'service' is extremely alarming, downright abhorrent, and must be stopped. The HPS is- in a single word- DISGUSTING. Their diabolical practices need to be publicly exposed. The entire HPS urgently requires in-depth scrutiny by qualified, unbiased civilians. As a relevant FYI: I have never been convicted of a criminal offence, never been arrested, never been apprehended under Sec. 17 of the Mental Health Act (MHA); nor have ever been hospitalized for mental illness otherwise, have always maintained a clean driving record, have never worked in the sex or drug trades, have never been evicted, never been bankrupt, never been homeless, never smoked, never used recreational drugs, never consume alcohol, never gamble, and have never been prescribed anti-psychotic meds. Have been working since age 12. Own my house, own my car, am full-time employed & have worked for the same company for 5 years. Am well-groomed, am not repulsive-looking or acting, am of above-average intelligence, am not sleazy, and dress decently. These facts can be verified. Basically, am about as square as a person can possibly be. A hard-working, law-abiding, tax-paying, model citizen. I am a female abuse survivor in my 40s and am a victim of a man who was my spouse and turned out to be a notorious sex offender (as I gradually learned over the years). I successfully litigated against him for a deliberate personal injury he caused me; I proved my case with evidence in civil court. As one example of numerous: When contacting the HPS for assistance for an escalating domestic violence matter transpiring in my home in 2011, the HPS officers talked down to me condescendingly. One of their non-white officers who appeared on scene (HOURS later) subjected me to his sharply hostile anger; even though I was obviously the victim and certainly frightened at the time. He added insult to injury by imposing 'his' misogynistic cultural norms upon me: "You still sleeping in same room! You still living in same house! Why we take you seriously!". The HPS had full awareness of my then-spouse's sordid criminal history and the fact he was on the Ontario Sex Offender Registry. When I subsequently obtained a copy of the report via the HPS FOI, what I read shocked me. The officer who wrote the report accused me of being an "EDP" (Emotionally Disturbed Person) and stated that I (purportedly) exhibited "obvious signs of mental illness", yet he could not provide ANY specifics as to why he came to these sweeping conclusions regarding the state of my mental health. ...Is he a psychiatrist? The report also grossly distorted my testimony, placed a viciously misogynistic, gaslighting spin on my dialogue, and furthermore stated: "The HPS believes that (_______) is an EDP". ..Again, no reasons are provided as to how/why they came to this judgment of my character. They can blame it... but apparently, they can't name it. Therefore, the contents of the report constitute SLANDER. There is a plethora of additional salient information I could provide but cannot due to the lack of space allotted here. Police officers swear an oath to serve and protect society's most vulnerable citizens. Clearly this oath is blatantly disregarded by the HPS. My human rights have been violated repeatedly. The extremely arrogant, power-tripping, narcissistic, misogynistic thugs at the HPS can look forward to my upcoming litigation against them. And we will be watching for any retaliatory actions carried out against me by the HPS.
I had an accident back in October. I was blacked out when I was dropped on the ground with the police. I am getting memory back. Cancer was misdiagnosed as mental health. My daughter and my friend were violently assaulted. Officer said it was their fault for being there to assault. Utterly useless and without empathy.
