Painfully awful pharmacy. Lost prescription faxes, giving wrong meds, crazy long wait times. If you love frustration and annoyance this is the pharmacy for you!
I went in to get a prescription filled at Shoppers on Upper Sherman, but the medication wasn’t in stock and I was told it wouldn’t be available until Monday. The pharmacist overheard and went out of his way to help — he checked other locations, found one that had it, and even arranged for a driver to pick it up so I could get it tonight. I really appreciated that extra effort and kindness. Great service — thank you, Ezzy!
This is a Chanel store carrying my wife's favorite Chanel No 5 line of classic fragrances. That said, last year, I had a negative experience here with two cashiers virtually ignoring me. Not at all the case this year. Lindsay from the cosmetics counter was an invaluable source of knowledge and delivered service over the top. I will gladly return and purchase beauty products for special occasions, for my wife, with this service. Last year left such a bad taste I bought on line but decided to go back one more time and that was a go decision.
Every time there’s a 20X points event or points redemption offer, I buy soda in bulk. But whenever I try to check out with 6 crates at the self-checkout, an employee stops me, claiming there’s a 4-crate limit—even though there’s no sign anywhere stating that! I told them, "If there’s a limit, show me the sign! If there’s no sign, I’m checking out!" Then she yelled at me, saying, "Don’t ever come back to this store again!" Is there a phone number I can call to complain? I’m absolutely furious!
How disappointing, I go to a Canadian english speaking company and what do I hear but Islamic music, last time I checked there was no Spanish, Chinese, Nigerian or any other nationalities with there music playing. Let me guess it's owned by a muslim group, that doe's not matter, we live in a english speaking country!
This Pharmacy has been our business of choice for years the last 8 years. The level of service has definitely fallen quite a bit with the exception of a couple of pharmacy staff members and one very friendly full timer in the store. Today, I called to speak with somebody to get a refill and was told that I had no more refills on my medication. I was then told that the pharmacist could prescribe it, but it would cost me $15 to do so. What a money grab!! I have had this Pharmacy flag many other trivial issues and they could not tell me when I picked up the last of my meds that I was out of refills? They have even questioned my husband regarding the medication that he was put on by his cardiologist and awhile back, one person in the Pharmacy said "I'm not sure why a doctor would continue prescribing this to you". They were unaware of the medical history but the cardiologist was aware because he is the DOCTOR. Pharmacists are not doctors. They are there to flag potential issues due to medications interacting. My husband has already left this Pharmacy for a smaller, independently owned one. The customer service is phenomenal where he goes now. Our family of five will give our business to the smaller Pharmacy with better customer service. I really tried to stay loyal to Shopper's Pharmacy but even trying to get through on the phone is awful. After listening to store hours, promos, and menu options, the call was answered by a person who immediately says that they're only their part-time and can't help you with anything....but they can pass along a message to the pharmacist so that I can pay $15. Horrible!
The pharmacist working here was extremely helpful with getting my father a Paxlovid prescription. The medication and the delivery were free of charge. This experience was a prime example of how universal healthcare and community care should be. They should be proud of taking care of their community.
