I went in to buy some high end cosmetic products. As soon as I said the brand i needed, the cosmetician offered samples to go with my purchase without even me asking. Her exact words were " oh, i have samples for you". I finished my purchase and spend close to $300/- . She didn't bother giving me any samples, but also said she doesn't have any samples when i asked abt the samples she had offered. I don't really care abt the samples, but was upset as she offered and then denied it after the sales were done! I think I will be going else where from now on .I prefer to deal with honest people.
Bought an item that I tried to return. The manager said it was a final sale yet I wasn't told that at the time of purchase nor was my receipt stamped "final sale" as I was told it should have been. If the store made an error - which I was told it did then fix it for the customer. Buyer beware at this location. Customer service needs some work.
They did a renovation not 2 long ago 4 NO REASON - Shoppers is owned by Loblaws & that should say enough. They keep jacking the prices up & soon they will b closing stores cuz no1 will b able 2 afford 2 buy anything. As far as this store - it's OK but their CS sucks. Just so everyone is aware this is the University Plaza store in Dundas Ontario.
WOW! I am beyond impressed! Siddhart cashed me out and was incredibly kind and patient. Last weekend, I was at the same store but didn’t have access to my PC Optimum card. The cashier then told me I had 7 days to claim the points with my receipt. Tonight, I searched everywhere - purse, wallet, coat pockets—but couldn’t find it. Siddhart saved the day! He explained that he could add the points to my account even without the receipt and took care of it right away. I had no idea that was even possible! What a superstar. I hope everyone gets the chance to be helped by Siddhart—he’s absolutely spectacular!
The staff in the beauty section are always helpful and pleasant.I have never had a bad experience with any of them and have shopped at this location for many years.
I've had multiple unpleasant experiences at this Shoppers Drug Mart Beauty Boutique, all because of one specific employee. She’s a middle-aged woman with dark hair and glasses, and every time I visit, she makes my shopping experience miserable. She follows me around the store, watching me like a hawk as if I’m going to steal something, which is both insulting and uncomfortable. She’s extremely rude, constantly rushing me, talking down to me, and making me feel unwelcome. She also insists that I can only cash out at the Beauty Boutique, which is frustrating and unnecessary. Shopping for beauty products should be an enjoyable experience, but instead, I leave feeling judged and disrespected. I’ve had enough of her attitude, and I sincerely hope management addresses this. Until then, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.
