What an amazing place. The community is absolutely blessed to have this centre. The people that work and volunteer here are very wonderful kind people. Highly recommend especially if you have kids they have excellent programs. They deserve more then 5 stars.

I went here for a class, Cooking on a Budget. It was so great! The class was free, and they made 3 recipes, which we all got to eat! Wonderful tips on the nutritional value of the ingredients. I can't wait to go again!

I've had to go here for food and clothing. And all the staff I've interacted with are all amazing and so kind!! I know they have a lot of resources and programs that do go on inside. Such a wonderful community of human beings. ????? They also accept donations of food and clothing.

Staff is wonderful, respectful, and articulate. I found that having my son there at the centre is encouraging the leadership, confidence, and independence out of him. I appreciate that kids have an opportunity to become volunteer leaders and so forth. Kids enjoy taking part in the programs Found that staff addresses' concerns as well as follows up. There, it is a community of kids learning to get along, to have boundaries, to appreciate and accept differences

Eva Rothwell Centre is a multi-purpose centre helping the people in need by providing free food/grocery through food banks, free clothes through clothes bank (which they get as donations from different strata of society) and uplifting people by providing free courses through City School by Mohawk. They also conduct after-school activities for kids.

I was at the center today to donate men’s clothing ( aug 23) I had read they were in dire need of men’s clothing so I went through all my men’s clothing and gathered up 3bags. I called the center and they told me 3 bags at a time max so with 3 bags in tow we drove from upper Stoney creek to lower Wentworth with our donation. When I got to the reception, I was told no more donations were being accepted and my donations were turned away. This was very disappointing and frustrating, not to mention my time and gas . I felt this place being a help to the community would have told me when I called in rather than have me put in all this effort to donate , only to get refused?

I was treated like I am sub human for needing assistance with food. I was given rotten items and they were extremely unprofessional. The food they provided won’t last a day and is mainly soup broth for four people. I am disgusted that this is how help was offered to a family that is just trying to make it until I get my first pay at my new job!
