I have a large backyard that requires extensive renovation. HBS is across the street from my office so I ordered my first products from there. I am actually blown away by the positive customer experience I just had. From the order desk to the drivers, amazing customer service and speedy service and delivery - the whole way through. And very educational, too. I feel I’ll be able to discern and understand costs, allowing me to demand fair quotes from contractors now. I’ll use them for my entire renovation.

I purchased garden and top soil from them. Worse soil I ever purchased. Top soil was mostly clay. I spread a fine thin layer on my lawn and it ended up suffercating my lawn due to the high amount of clay in their soil. Same thing happened to my neighbours lawn. We both ordered from here. Please stick to building supply’s and leave the garden products to the professionals
Incredible service! I called to order some fill and the gentleman I spoke to was so helpful and nice. I ended up ordering too much so I had to call back and adjust the order. We needed to build two outdoor stairwells with retaining wall and matching steps. We.ordered about 640 blocks of Pisa precast retaining wall blocks and coping, plus 4 yards of gravel and weeping tile for drainage. Everyone at HBC was professional and skilled, from Angela in the store, to Andrew the driver who put everything within inches of where we needed to stage it for installation. It was a pleasure to work with them, and they made the logistics so smooth and easy .
