I’m not local to the shop and travelled there for one item. This item comes in multiple sizes and I was very excited to see there was one left in the size I was seeking. I then continued to meander the shop and with my arms laden with purchases the shop owner approaches me to berate me publicly for taking the item I came for. I was heatedly told that she had 30 more coming on Monday and now had no demo ( not true- multiple other sizes of same product remained). “ I wish you hadn’t done that!” Is her last comment before storming off. I ceased shopping immediately and approached the 2 other working staff who confirmed this was the owner that just publicly scolded me for making a purchase in her shop- no thank you for your patronage at this shop. I will say the staff were MUCH more professional, apologetic and offered a customer service vastly lacking in the owner. THEY are the store’s saving grace!!!
Staff are professional, The Owner is NOT! Reviewing based on my mother's experience. She was publicly scolded by the owner for purchasing the last juicer in her size because it left no demo available (which wasn't even true ).It was unnecessary, embarrassing, and completely unprofessional. The staff were kind, but the owner's behavior ensures we won't be back.
Look, I'm the woodworker in the family, not the chef, but you gotta spend some time in here! Small nook-type space but perfect for a quick visit, exceptional cooking instruments to fun dishware. I can spend 10 minutes just learning about cutting surfaces, lol. Big smile from my wife! A true hidden gem!
