Horrible Manchurian was very disappointing. They like to push expired stuff to save money. Will not be coming back here and recommend not to go there either
Most of their stuff is sold expired. This is a pack of chips that I got from a shelf and not from one of their expired items table. Few friends had similar issues. Won't recommend buying anything from here. Pathetic behavior from employees.

“I visited Lakshmi Supermarket at barton and bought some groceries but i was shocked to discover that biscuits and sweets with a “best before” date in May 2025 were being sold at a 30 % discount in July. I trusted them with my family’s food safety, but seeing expired packaged snacks still on shelves—clearly marked down—felt deceptive and irresponsible. Selling products past their indicated shelf life may not always pose a direct health hazard, but it severely undermines consumer trust and quality assurance, and raises concerns about inventory mismanagement. Customers deserve transparency and safety—not hidden expiration dates or discounted expired goods. I urge the store to fully remove expired items, improve stock rotation practices. When we went to store to return expire things they were rude with us saying that- it is useful even after expiry date. How can somebody blindly eat the things which is already expired They should treat buyers with the respect they deserve.”
Store has good variety, open till late and give good deals frequently but regular price is little bit expensive compared to other Indian stores in the city.
The best place for Indian groceries.The staff and the owner is excellent with customers.This store is just not about the grocery they have so much to serve you there pani puri, samosa was soooooo delicious. You name it and you will get it. Great work guys keep it up.
