The best pasta and lasagna . Not sure how you make it but so wholesome. Made with ingredients that I can actually ingest. I’m a type 2 diabetic. These pastas are a great way to eat grains and not worry about sugar spikes. Tysm Arvin.
I tried the Italian sausage/vodka sauce lasagna and prepared it as per the instructions . I was dismayed to find very little cheese on top before heating and very dismayed to find very little meat within . The sauce was tasty although much of it was on the top layer. The noodles were very tender and very thin . I counted at least 8 layers stacked up with not much between them . Overall kind of disappointing and I'd be hesitant to purchase again. This company does know how to make lasagna noodles but I'm not sure they have mastered automated assembly of the final product .
I was really looking forward to trying this. With the price point I was expecting it to be very good. Unfortunately there was barely any cheese or sauce so it was just a lot of pasta lumped together. Not worth the price. Wish I went for the cheaper compliments one beside it. My lasagna did not look at all like the photo. The photo looks like it’s full of sauce and cheese. What I got was a thin top layer of cheese and virtually no sauce between the noodles. Very disappointing for over $20 frozen lasagna. Defiantly need to add more sauce and cheese to make this better. I have read that in many reviews before writing my own.
the makers of the only frozen lasagna I can bare to stomach. i've tried a lot of brands (mama yolandas, various nonames, etc etc) & I can say that pretto's queen of all lasagna is my all-time absolute favourite. something about the bechamel just really balances everything. & the spinach pasta is a welcome & especially delicious peculiarity, since most frozen lasagna tends to be the same across the board, ingredient wise. not the cheapest, no. but honestly I can't go back to other brands after this (believe me I've tried!) so I say the price is warranted. my only complaint is I wish it was easier to find. can usually find them at Sobey's (GTA) but their stock levels for this product seem to fluctuate severely, plus not all Sobey's stock the same flavours or sizes. however, this lasagna is something I'm willing to visit multiple stores for-- it's just that good.
Picked up a Lasagna at sobeys in tecumseh today after trying a sample. It was just as delicious for dinner tonight as my sample was in store. Definitely will become a regular on my shopping list. Love they use local ingredients and how fresh it tastes.
So..I picked this lasagna up after the spectator review. I usually buy zarkies lasagna, so I will compare. Flavor..both similar. Size, zarkies gives you much more for similar price. The downfall was that there is inconsistent sauce distribution. Sections had almost no sauce. I actually cut off one end due to overlaping the edge with no sauce. My house of three all agree. Would I buy again..prob not. Zarkeys has downfalls too, but quantity makes up for it.
What a fantastic lasagna!! Best on the market by far. I'm never buying anything else my family love it. I found it for sale locally at Farmboy Cambridge. On a separate note. I drive for Erb refrigerated service. Your shipper (I wish I knew his name). Is professional, very kind and considerate. Cheers
