The Standard is a fantastic and elegant dining experience. With a wide variety of unique appetizer options and equally appealing main courses, it is hard to choose just one item from each. However, with the guidance of my excellent bartender, Atakan, both the duck lollipops and the lamb tagine proved to be one of the most delicious meals I have had in a while. Bursting with flavor and texture, both meals seem to understand how to blend together visual artistry and taste. Fantastic restaurant and great service.
Beautiful restaurant, great food and cocktails. Bar service a little slow. Unfortunately even though our server was friendly, her menu and bar knowledge was lacking which made it difficult for her to guide us as first time guests and that was a bit frustrating. We shared the rib eye, shishito peppers, and gnocchi. Rib eye and peppers were both really great. Would definitely come back and recommend.
The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered the braised lamb and petite filet — both were amazing, and I’d 100% recommend them. The only little letdown was that it was a birthday celebration, and I’d called the day before to make sure they knew so the dessert would come with a candle. Unfortunately, it didn’t, and having to remind our server kind of took away from the surprise.
I had an absolutely decadent dinner at The Standard last night, the food was exceptional along with the service. The bar tender Tara was epitome of elegance, she maintained a warm and professional attitude throughout my time there. She mentioned she was just starting out at The Standard and did a fabulous job accommodating me, she made sure to double check back with the kitchen on anything she was uncertain about. I will definitely be returning.
Went on a Saturday night for dinner. The service was slow, the staff unattentive. Was going to a show and arrived at the Standard 2 hours before it was to start. We received our meal after being there 1.5 hrs. The food was good and the price was in line with the quality. Its a nice restaurant with nice atmosphere. It was busy so that had a negative impact on the experience as the staff are not equipped to provide a good customer experience during high volume.
Yummy birthday brunch! Please order the buttermilk biscuits they were the best thing we ordered. Maple bacon and brown sugar butter was sooooo good! Great experience here!
Our party had a rehearsal dinner in the cellar, which is below the main level of the restaurant. We opted for a chef's table where foods were brought on the sharable plates. The choices were fantastic and we enjoy especially appetizers. Main course of steak and duck and fish was superb...we cannot chose better restaurant. Despite we had big number of kids nobody was complaining. Thank you to Kate who was our host everything went perfect.
