Garbage place. Zero customer service. Kept sending me to different departments. Waited 15 mins just to tell me they don’t have basic speaker wire. My response to the owners response: time is valuable, you had 4 staff and only 2 customers before me. I don’t care to wait but waiting 15 mins to tell me you don’t have basic wiring in a large electronics shop doesn’t make sense to me.
I’ve never purchased any electronics from these guys, but I did use them for their Purolator service. The guy went over and above, helping me tape up my box etc. Next time I’m looking for some high-end electronics, I will check them out. Thanks
I made the 45 minute drive today to East Hamilton Radio to source out car audio and buy the installation kit, stereo and accessories for a project old truck I restoring. First, I had to wait 10 minutes for the only guy to get off the phone so I can ask some questions. He wasn't much help and he didn't offer any deals or information on installation kits that I would need to install any car audio. I was there with cash yo buy a decent stereo, nothing out of norm. I felt it was a waste of my time and I left empty handed and disappointed, never to return.
Back in the 60's & 70's as a teen, I used to frequent this place for all the electronic/electrical gizmos, gadgets & parts to build projects & models with, or fix this things. They've come a LOOOONG way since those great days. About a decade ago my sister & I shopped for her home entertainment system and was sold a SONOS platform which seemed to fit the bill at the time. I recall the salesman was very helpful, but would have been more helpful to have not sold her a system that was apparently already becoming discontinued. My recent visit last week was to pickup a Purolator shipment as EHR is a Purolator customer Depot. Experience for that day was very favorable.
Incredibly aggressive and unprofessional behaviour from one of your male employees that drives a silver 2011era dodge grand caravan. Comes into other peoples’ place of business and screams at their employees for following company policies. Just witnessed him scream, threaten and insult two employees for following their companies return policy, and then slammed their doors and spun the tires in his work vehicle flooring it unsafely out of their parking lot and flinging rocks and dirt at customer/employee cars with his tires as he did so. Super unimpressed. Will not be supporting their business if this is the kind of person they employ
Absolutely Terrible Service!!!! Came in to get an interlock installed. My car worked perfectly. Sat all afternoon waiting and at the end of the day they finally come to tell me that they can't start my car. Then tried several times to say that it's my car, not their unqualified technician that caused the issue. They left my car trapped in their underground garage and turned their back on me and said its my problem and I am responsible to get it towed out of their garage. All at my own expense. My car worked perfectly fine before they brought it in the shop. They should be responsible for getting my car to a garage and paying for the diagnostics and repair as they 100% caused whatever issue it has. The person I'm dealing with has been completely ignorant and turned his back on me saying it's my problem. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN MY LIFE.
Went in for a simple stereo install, left my car there at 10:30 because they asked me to come in early. In the consultation we agreed to remove a storage box between the seats (four bolts) so the sub could be placed in its spot, we also discussed fastening amp to metal wall behind front two bucket seats. A simple deck install two door speakers and sub.... very basic... They call me at 6:00 an hour before they close and tell me they can’t get one door speaker working, couldn’t remove storage box so they threw my sub in the back behind a metal wall in a van Duck taped the amp under the passenger seat, the head guy tony played on his phone and was nothing but rude, also accused me of a phone conversation warning me of some additional costs associated with my quote that never happened I thought these guys were the kings of car audio in Hamilton $1500.00 and I’m driving around with one speaker.
