ATTENTION PLEASE! If anyone at IELTS actually cares about customer feedback, please note that this test centre (Hamilton - BITTS - IELTS Test Centre) is running a scam. To start-off, the behaviour of a staff member was extremely rude, which set a terrible tone for the entire experience. But, the main issue I faced was with the centre claiming to have lost recording of my IELTS speaking test, and now they’ve given me an ultimatum retake it within the next 2 days or lose my entire markings including Writing, Listening, and Reading as well. How is this treatment fair in any regard? I’ve given IELTS at various centres across the globe. This centre was the worst I’ve ever seen and a huge let down by IELTS standards. And the same has been reiterated multiple times in past reviews with no resolution. And to make things worse they refused to send me an official email stating the reasons and venue with date and timings. I must say everything here points in not a good direction. WHY REFUSE AN EMAIL??
I paid $700 CAD for my CSCP exam and was denied entry even after showing my valid passport. The staff spoke to me rudely and said “it’s your problem.” As an international student, this was heartbreaking and stressful. I worked hard and prepared for months, but was treated with no respect. Very unprofessional.

I recently took the CELPIP test at this center and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The test environment was not suitable for a high-stakes exam. There was a very strong and unpleasant smell in the room, which made it difficult to concentrate. In addition, the headphones and microphone I was provided with were not working properly, which negatively affected my listening and speaking performance. I had previously been assessed at a higher ESL level (Listening 8, Speaking 6), and my CELPIP results (Listening 5, Speaking 6) were much lower than expected, likely due to these poor testing conditions. I hope the center takes this feedback seriously and improves the environment and equipment for future test takers. Fair and comfortable testing conditions are essential for an accurate evaluation.
waste of money $370!!! I booked my test 21 june 2025 and selected speaking time for today 12 o’ clock. They send me mail after rescheduling my speaking time by themselves. I told them I selected speaking time according to my time but i can’t come on that time which you send me in mail after rescheduling because i have doctor appointment at new speaking time. They replied ‘ we can’t do anything not refund not change time for speaking because its rescheduled by administration’ . we don’t have examiner at that time which you selected when you filled your exam. so today i did not come for speaking test because of appointment. So , why you showed o many slots for speaking if you don’t have examiners? Now it is waste of money, but this location doesn’t care they just care about making money. If there should be any negative rating I will give them that.
Had exam here. They're online now not paper. Took up to 2 minutes to switch from question 1 to question 2. Halfway through it kicked everyone out and we couldn't finish. Test centre didn't give us the number to contact Prometric and nobody called us to fix the situation. It's been over a week and no info on what is to be done. Such a ridiculous way for things to be handled.
I appreciate the service, they are providing. The staff was friendly and polite towards the candidates. Instructions were clear. Overall, my experience was awesome and I would recommend it.
