WOW!!!! Loved this Couple Date Night experience! Fun. polishing skills & tons of laughter! The food was delicious. The team handed out culinary secrets and jabs freely ... and took some as well! Definitely will return and probably enrol in a class session or two!
The worst food I ever had at the wedding was served by this company. Meat was very hard. Fries for kids - raw Midnight buffet- qroquettes with sauerkraut spoiled!!! I’m not recommending this company to anyone for bigger events. Two times tried it, both times very bad.
My husband and I took the cooking classes with Chef Anthony and we had a great time. Class sizes are small, to allow for hands on practice and observation. Chef Anthony shares tips and tricks from years of experience. We learned so much, had lots of laughs and met some really nice people along the way. We will be back.
We had a great time at the couples cooking course at the Gastro Market in Hamilton. The course takes a max of four couples on each course and so you get lots of chances for individual instruction from the chefs. The atmosphere was fun, the instruction is excellent and the best part is that you get to sit down and eat the fantastic food you make. The pastry chef also sent each couple home with some of his homemade sorbet at the end of the evening. I would recommend the couples cooking course to anyone, it was a really fun experience.
Honestly the most amazing place, not only are the staff as friendly as can be, the atmosphere and food is to absolutely die for. Can’t rate Gastros market high enough!
Friendly, welcoming and most of all fantastic food. Really an exceptional spot to check out for a quick bite or some ready made prepped meals. The Pizza are fantastic! Looks like a great place to learn too!

Chef Anthony and his beautiful wife Justine are an amazing couple; the food they cook is simply wonderful; from their hearts to your table. You can have this fantastic intimate dinner with friends or family members in a cozy setting, well decorated area, with relaxing ambiance, which is perfect to celebrate a special occasion. If you don’t have several hours, you can also buy some of their multiple convenient “Grab and Go” food options to eat at home or work as well. Whether you decide on one or the other, you will be extremely satisfied. While talking to this couple, I found out they also offer cooking classes… With Valentine’s Day around the corner, this is the perfect gift idea! So I decided to book a cooking class at Gastro Market for my fiancé and I. This will be a fun and exciting event, while learning new skills that will definitely be put to good use in the kitchen for years to come. What a fantastic suggestion !!!! I also have a girlfriend’s birthday party to plan soon. Without a doubt, I know exactly where I will make a reservation for the best experience. More than ever, it is imperative that we support local businesses since so many of them are hit hard lately… I strongly recommend you try and encourage Gastro Market. It is by far one of my favourite restaurants. I’m sure you will like it too.
