This place is where you want to go if you’re looking for an authentic chocolate experience. Not once have I been disappointed with a purchase from here. Very fair prices for what you’re getting.
I have been ordering the Dessert bars. I had recently ordered the Santa BBY. The chocolate bar is one of my favourites. I love the chocolate mint. I highly recommend this bar.
I had followed DSRT CO from the UK for atleast 3 possibly 4 years so when I came to visit Toronto I knew I had to make a trip to this store in Hamilton! As soon as you walk in you can see all the bars in their full glory. I was amazed from the start! As you can imagine even in store they start to sell out fast so some things were already gone by the time I got there but there was still a really good selection going on. They have cute little baskets to use so your fingers don't melt the chocolate bars as you're holding them, everything is on display for you to go absolutely crazy! They have a fridge with the cake related stuff (cake jars etc) and also moulded chocolate bonbons at the front counter you can buy individually. The staff were so cool, the girl at the register was really kind, told me about the store and that they actually ship to the UK now which is so cool! Amazing experience and I thoroughly recommend, as a fellow chocolatier I was genuinely blown away with the creations going on here.
the cheesecake is pretty good, i wish there was a little more crust! the chocolate is decent as well. i would like to try something else from here, because it is very good quality, i think the things i picked out just weren’t for me! it is a little bit pricey, $30 for a chocolate bar seems crazy, so i couldn’t bring myself to purchase those.
The chocolate is to die for! Why didn’t we get more?? We ate all of it already. I’m updating this review with pictures. The owner is very friendly, we saw her support the kids costume parade the weekend before Halloween ?
I stopped in this evening to grab a chocolate peanut butter cup and it was absolutely delicious. The place is adorable! Staff are friendly. The owner was lovely. I will be telling everyone about this place!
Dropped in at the closing time. 3.58 to be precise. But was greeted with a warm smile. Quickly picked up a classic bar and the blueberry garbage cake. Without any exaggeration, hands down one of the best tasting chocolates I have had in a while! And the additives in this bar are perfect! The garbage cake was also good. Moist and not too loaded. Perfect balance. But the chocolate bar ???? I only add review for places that stand out from the rest and The Dsrt co. definitely does! Going back for more soon.
