Young man (in purple raptors baseball cap) behind the counter appeared to be on the phone with customer when my wife and I walked in, so we looked around the mess that I think was supposed to be a showroom and we waited approximately 5min for him to finish the call (which I didn't mind) However, instead of greeting us when he hung up....he continued to ignore us (while we were standing directly in front of him at the counter) and then used his cell phone to make a call to someone else (I got the impression it was a family member) where he was loudly cursing and was clearly agitated right in front of us.... I didn't appreciate anything I saw or heard! Why would I trust such an unprofessional place with my or my family vehicles?! We walked out and took our business to Auto Fx
I too, was ghosted for a morning appointment, no call before or after, I waited an hour for someone to show up. They just don't care, apparently. If you heard something good about Gain Electronics, it was likely about the other, more professional location on Barton (I ended up taking my business there), or perhaps under the previous owner's watch. My observation was that this location operates more as a social club than a function business.
Take heed to the poor reviews as this establishment takes advantage of women. They are a bunch of con artists. My vehicle just had a safety check yet they were telling me my fluids were low and my battery was bad. My initial reason for the visit was to assess my audio problem. Needless to say they claimed they would be able to resolve the issue but I left with no resolution and money spent for nothing. Do not waist your hard earned money coming to this place, you will regret it.
If I could give a minus I would. I booked an appt for 1;30. Got there at 1;20 and was told the guys were not there. They were out picking up parts for the next day. Why when they knew they had a 1:30 appt. I left and came back at 2;00. I sat there waiting to find out why I had static on my radio. Twice I was told they were working on it. Really when I saw the fellow leave with his coat on and come back 1 hr later. He told me he didn’t leave but worked with his coat in. Really No one else had their coat on. I sat there waiting until 3:50 . The fellow told me he starting working on my car at 1:45. Thatin itself is a miracle since I didn’t return until 2:00. All in all my antenna was shot. I was charged $ 8 for diagnosis. If they had actually worked on my car for almost 2 hrs would they charge $8. I think not. I would never ever recommend this place. They would not have done this to a man.
Worst place possible broke my usb port and said it was bad then didnt say they charged for diagnostics just said nothing said he will see what he can do my thinking it was free then he charged me a whole 50$ for something i xan do myself
Pls people don't go there I'm just went there to check my stereo just to find the small problem RCAcables charged me $ 230 dollars unbelievable pls guys he is very sneaky ask price before he starts doing something he said don't worry won't be alot very cheap for you .. ridiculous for a simple work $ 60 that's what they charge me ..
I had an appointment to change out a defective base for my Siriusxm module. Dino, the owner, provided friendly and quality service at a very good price point.
