Stopped in at the Gage Park Diner today because of the Fresh Cut Fries sign. Was absolutely the best decision made in awhile. The service was exceptional !!! As soon as I walked in was asked what I wanted to order. Those fries that I ordered turned out to be deep fried treasures ! Do yourself a favour and make a stop at the Gage Park Diner a priority. The lady who served me was amazing to inter-act with. I am a long haired hippie and my server asked Alexa to go to a rock station. You cannot beat that kind of personal service. EVERYBODY SHOULD EAT AT GAGE PARK DINER !!!!!
We had such a lovely brunch at this wonderful family-run restaurant. The food was awesome, and it felt extra special as we enjoyed a game of Snakes & Ladders at our table. It was equally heartwarming to see the owners’ son and daughter so engaged, attentive, and focused on making sure every guest had a great experience. A truly charming spot—highly recommend!
Finally got to try this cozy spot! Impressed by the many options (a whole seperate menu for veg/vegan options!) There were unique options on the menu like strawberry and sweet grass juice that we’d love to try next time! Service was warm and friendly ? Will be back!
Came here for breakfast my one breakfast was supposed to be sausage and eggs instead it was bacon and eggs the second breakfast "hech yeah" came with French toast but no butter and no syrup neither one of us said anything and the server didn't notice either...the food was good and portions where also good the price was a lil high but what isn't high with this trudump tyrant government...the place has a 60's kind of a feel to it...there is parking but no wheelchair access to get in
Came on a day when the menu was limited due to staff. So that was a bit of a bummer. My peameal bacon on a bun was okay. Very average, there were certainly little efforts that could have been made to up the experience (toasted bun, salted tomato etc). Other people enjoyed their hollandaise sauce very much although the eggs were a little overdone. We expected to get handed the check but it never came. Eventually we saw others paying at the counter and did so too, after a half hour of waiting. The waitress was very nice but could have been more attentive in that regard, checking how we'd like to pay, if we were splitting, or if we'd like anything else.
Very cute little place right across from Gage Park. My family and I enjoyed breakfast there and I was really happy with the vegan options. Reasonable prices and friendly staff. Great experience and would definitely go back. Pictures are of the vegan BLT, which was great!
