absolute gem in hamilton! it’s rare to find a place that is both aesthetically pleasing and has great food, comma definitely has both. we got this mushroom benny and their breakfast sandwich, both were delicious. as for drinks i got the osmanthus latte, nice,warm and comforting! staff was also very accommodating, i called last minute to make sure there was a table and the made sure to have a table ready for us! would definitely come back, and i normally don’t dine out too much when im in hamilton.
Yummy! Excellent food and our sever was the SWEETEST, she even gave my bestie a giant birthday cookie ☺️). It’s a tiny place with street parking available so arrive a few minutes early to secure a spot :). Absolutely loved it here. The food was so well done, flavors busting and very timely! The owner was warm, considerate and made it comfortable for my family, kids included. It’s a great spot and we will visit again and again.
One of the best brunches I’ve ever had!!! we had the Hong Kong style French toast and Mushroom Benny - both were incredible! Also, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive.
What a lovely experience! Service was top notch - the staff were really sweet and attentive. There was even a little button at the table that you could use to request water or the bill. The menu had a ton of variety and it was all really interesting takes on traditional brunch / breakfast meals. Loved the black sesame twist and ice cream on the French toast. So good!! The restaurant itself is really quaint and tastefully decorated. It may be small but it’s comfortable. Excited to come back and bring some other people! Definitely make a reservation on the weekend as it’s really busy … and rightfully so!
The food is yummy but the server and chef were not very accommodating. They made a big deal out of switching the sausages for bacon and said it would cost extra. When asked if I could have my eggs scrambled, I was told no because it would not look nice and they don’t want us to post a picture of steak with scrambled eggs. We told them we wouldn’t take any pictures and they said no and made us get fried eggs.
For the sake of this restaurant I won’t rate it lower, but they have some issues they seriously need to address. I had this place bookmarked for awhile and finally went here for brunch. Most tables were full but no one there to immediately greet you and no sign that says to wait (they should def get one) eventually I had to go to the take out window and asked to do sit in. Service was EXTREMELY slow to the point I was shocked. No music playing either. They definitely need to hire a bigger team at least for weekends. Now for the food - it tasted good and the menu was creative, but let’s just say… there were quality control issues. They were apologetic though which I appreciate, but seriously they need to work on their cleanliness, service, and speed. Usually if someone has issues with their food you don’t charge them for the item, they only gave a small discount ? By the time we left it wasn’t even crazy busy but the staff seemed chaotic. I really hope they work on their front and back of house, and I’m saying all these things so they can improve. Just wish I had a better experience.
