Chris and his team have always completed jobs in a timely manner. He has also made time to explain issues and give thoughtful advice. He also has put a personal touch in hers service and has remembered me and family members throughout the years
My whole exhaust system was replaced in june 19 2024 for the price tag of just over $3500 at this particular shop. Received error codes last week pointing to the catalytic converter. So of course being less than 20 days over the one year warranty, Chris, the owner of this Midas franchise, was quick to advise me of the one-year warranty on midas parts? Surprised by this information and not having a lifetime warranty, i would advise anyone needing exhaust repairs to avoid this business. This guy is rude and needs to brush up on his customer service skills. Garbage

Very ignorant staff and owner. Don't clean property and have oils & gas leaking onto my property due to inconsiderate staff that do not apply the Midas franchise standard. This is in no means directed to the Corporation but only this franchise. This location has alarms going off all hours of the night which can be heard 400m away atleast and not a single employee comes to deal with it either.. During winter season they carelessly snow blow onto my fence line and block the gate for weeks. I politely tried to address this matter as I thought we were neighbors and rudely gave the response as so what and diminished the whole situation. They have caused property damage, loss of sleep and more. I tried to be reasonable but I hope this gets attention from within the franchise. Mainly the toxic liquids spilling onto my property, as well as the environment is what bothers me when they have specific standards to adhere to. If needed will provide photos of the topics I've brought up if they decided to be unprofessional after this. If there is any other location in town I would highly suggest just taking your business there to another Midas franchisee. This location could be better utilized property space for the city. I will note out of every employee only 1 had respect for community and company brand.
This Midas location is exceptional in professionalism and customer service. Chris is always SO friendly and helpful- he’s always accommodating (and awesome). He’s also upfront and transparent about cost/options regarding repairs- which helps me, feel comfortable and safe dealing with car stuff. Even if I didn’t live close, I’d make the trek to the Midas on York Blvd.
Absolutely fantastic service. Chris is great. Remembers everyone’s names, and very honest. I never worry about someone trying to upsell me into something I don’t need and have even been suggested to go to the dealer for a repair once because they would be able to figure out the issue and repair it for less. An honest mechanic is worth their weight in gold. Highly recommend.
We moved to the neighbourhood 5 years ago and this was our closest mechanic... we feel like we got really lucky. Chris is always courteous and professional and the service has been nothing but stellar every time. We've literally never taken our vehicle anywhere else in the last 5 years. If you're in Hamilton and you haven't used this place, please do at least once, you will not be disappointed! Great owner and business! Thanks Chris and crew!
