Peter is the man. He may seem intimidating/blunt at first but he's just super honest and knowledgeable. Unlike most mechanics these days who know nothing more than following computer checklists, he actually gets into the problem with mechanical intuition to determine the best solution. He was the only person in the area I was comfortable taking my 59 Chevy to for safety, and incredibly thorough in letting me know what needed doing to make it pass - even though I did the work myself and not with him. I even took my Mercedes daily to him for an emergency repair on a Saturday morning and he got it done same day so I could go to work on Monday, without ripping me off like many mechanics would. Highly recommend him, although be patient since he can be quite busy. Ps. he can actually drive a 3 on the tree unlike most people today
I was able to get my car looked at very quickly andmy repair was the same day and very reasonable prices compared to the dealership and other shops for the same service

Not impressed had my vehicle there for almost a month and when I would ask about it never the same answer twice. Told him what needed to be fixed argued with me and said he knew what it needed when I finally got it back. What needed to be fixed THE LIFTER wasn't done because he said no no it's a solenoid . Now I have to pay another mechanic to do it. Do not recommend this shop
